Clerk/Treasurer
The Village of Wrightstown is recruiting for the
salaried position of a full-time Village Clerk/Treasurer as a result of a future
retirement.
The position is responsible for all duties
required by State Statutes that includes the following but is not limited to:
Working knowledge of Fund Accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable,
General Ledger, payroll, and recording of minutes; knowledge of governmental financial
borrowing procedures; sufficient exposure to municipal investments;
knowledgeable of benefit enrollment procedures and basic Human Resource
functions; fully competent to direct all Election processes along with
knowledge of WisVote (SVRS); familiarity with Building and Zoning ordinance
interpretation and enforcement; exceptional writing and math skills; proficient
in Microsoft Word and Excel; excellent people skills; ability to multi-task;
able to maintain confidentiality; able to lead the Clerk/Treasurer Department;
and interact well with fellow Department Heads.
Applicants will be required to have a minimum
two-(2)-year accounting degree and a minimum of five-(5)-years Municipal
Administrative experience. Certifications
or memberships in the Wisconsin Municipal Clerk’s Association and/or Municipal
Treasurer Association of Wisconsin are added elements that will be considered. This
position reports directly to the Village Administrator.
A six-(6)-month probationary period will be
mandated with a salary range of $50,000 to $55,000 dependent on qualifications plus
a comprehensive benefit package. The hired applicant will also be required to pass a drug test and
physical for this position.

This person would open/close the church, make coffee, do some light cleaning (empty trash, sweep if needed, etc.). This is a part-time paid position. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Duties:
The BCS is responsible for scheduling, conducting, and tracking individual
personalized benefit review sessions to ensure that each employee has a good
understanding of their financial risks and benefit options available to them
through their employer. The BCS will follow through with processing benefit
enrollments and will also respond to employee benefit questions, as needed.
Enrolling
employees into supplemental benefit programs is an essential function of this
position; however, this is not a commission compensation position. Our
philosophy is that enrollments are best accomplished by spending quality time
educating the employee using our proprietary communication process. The
successful candidate must be willing to learn, apply, and consistently execute
all the responsibilities of the position with minimal day-to-day supervision.
High-level Review of Job
Responsibilities

Develop
a detailed understanding and working knowledge of all benefit plans offered
through the client.

Conduct
a monthly targeted number of individual and/or group communication/enrollment
meetings with all client employees (newly eligible, existing) to fully explain
core benefits and voluntary benefits and handle all follow-up calls.
·
Complete
all necessary enrollment forms (whether paper or computer generated) and submit
all forms/data to Benefit Communication Insourcing for processing in a timely
manner.
·
Support
and assist client's Human Resource staff regarding issues concerning voluntary
benefits.
·
Respond
to benefit questions from the client's employees.
·
Assist
client employees in making changes to benefit elections as needed.
Qualifications
·
We
are looking for confident and professional communicators that are customer
focused, self-motivated, and results driven, but with fun, dynamic, and
spirited personalities.

Previous
experience in insurance, financial planning, risk management, health science,
or a related field is not required, but definitely a plus.

Bilingual
(Spanish) is required

Active
Life and Health Insurance agent/producer license, a plus. If
