Natural Choices…Where to
Start?
With
the huge number of herbs and supplements in the marketplace today, people often
wonder, “Where do I begin?” Most people
have been trained to think in terms of treating diseases instead of building
health. When we focus on treating
disease, things can become very confusing, but when we focus on building
health, the task becomes much simpler!
The body has the capacity to heal itself when we provide it with the
basic nutrients it needs.
So,
start by creating a good basic supplement program and design your own daily
habit of health program. Here are the
components you should consider (children need these too!):
Vitamins
and Minerals: A quality multiple vitamin and mineral
supplement improves one’s basic nutrition intake.
Antioxidants: Fresh fruits and vegetables are natural
sources of antioxidants…nutrients that protect the body from free radical
damage. Most people are not consuming
enough produce and need good high potency antioxidant supplements.
Essential
Fatty Acids: Most people crave fats because their bodies
are looking for essential fatty acids, which are missing from the processed
oils they consume. A good high potency
Omega 3 or Flax Seed oil will supply these essential fatty acids, reducing
inflammation and the risk of cardiovascular disease (and so much more!).
Meal
Replacements: Since most people primarily eat processed
foods, the body is craving good nutrition.
A good meal replacement added to your diet will ensure that most of your
basic nutritional needs are met. (tip ~
liquid herbs may be added to these for more nutrition)
Enzymes: Since most people eat primarily cooked and
processed food, supplementing the diet with plant enzymes is essential for
better utilization of nutrients. For
people over 50, or those who have severe digestive issues, a nice well-rounded
food enzyme supplement is much needed!
Probiotics: Antibiotics destroy the friendly bacteria in
the intestinal tract known as probiotics.
This creates problems with yeast infections and leaky gut syndrome, which
can be root causes of many health problems.
A good probiotic can restore normal intestinal flora.
Fiber: Most people do not get enough fiber. Increasing fiber intake can improve
elimination, reduce toxins and lower cholesterol. (tip ~ fiber helps the colon to move much better!)
Cleansing: VIP! A
good cleansing program is a great way to improve your overall health! (tip ~ every cell and organ in the body can
be cleansed)
Confused
or overwhelmed? Consider the ABC+D
approach!
A
~ Activate with Enzymes (& also the emotions…more on that later tho)
B
~ Build the body
C
~ Cleanse the body
D
~ Direct Aide…support the issue that is ailing you the most (like sinuses, headaches,
indigestion, stress, lack of sleep, etc.)
Another
easy way to get started is to fill out a health analysis form. (tip ~ for best results…be honest!)
A little bit about me…
I’ve
been an Herbalist / Natural Health Consultant since 1986. I’ve not only helped myself regain and
maintain my health but I have helped many people to regain their health as
well!
The
companies I prefer to work with are Nature’s Sunshine Products and Sisel
International. Why? Because of integrity of company and integrity
of products! There are many
supplement companies out there now. I
realize it’s hard to figure out which one is best for you. Many companies talk a good talk…but they
don’t walk the good walk.
The
way I look at it…I’m not going to waste my hard earned money on products that
contain chemicals and have poor potency levels.
I tried several companies back in the early 80’s…but none of their
products helped me. Then I found
Nature’s Sunshine and I was on the fast road to feeling (& looking) great! I brought on Sisel International because they
carry products NSP doesn’t and vice versa.
2 great companies to help us!
Please
feel free to contact me when you have questions or concerns. I love helping!
“Thank You & enJOY”!

P.S. If you cannot afford to take good quality
supplements...don’t waste your money on “cheap” supplements! Eat healthy.
Eat more fruits and vegetables and cut way back on the meats, sugars,
alcohol, etc. Chew your food. Don’t drink cold liquids while eating. Rotate your foods. Just doing these easy steps will help you
feel better! J
