I demo Himalayan Salt at various locations around Green Bay…there is always
someone that says to me…”salt is salt” or “sodium is sodium”.
Salt
is mined in different places around the world…and is processed
differently. It’s in the processing that
the problem lies.
Table
salt and many sea salts are stripped of all their minerals/nutrients and then chemicals
are added. So essentially they become
about 98% Sodium Chloride and 2% chemicals.
Therein is the problem. No
balance of minerals…and then there are the chemicals. Both of these issues make table salt harmful
for the body.
Whatever
you are cooking, you may easily switch from table salt to Himalayan Salt. You will be very happy with the added flavor
to your foods!
