Airventure in Oshkosh 2013

One of a kind family event you will not want to miss. The EAA Airventure will be featuring more than 100 aircrafts during the week and planes featured from Europe, Mexico, and all around the United States. The aircraft event runs July 29th to August 4th. You can visit airventure.org for more information and pricing. Discount admission is offered to veterans and active duty-military. Childern 5 and under are free.

Be sure to checkout the outdoor movies, hands on workshops, daily airshows, and kidventure-fun, hands-on aviation activities for the childern all week long.
The lineup of actvities are as followed:

July 29
The band Chicago will be playing after the noon air show. The concert will be located on the Phillips 66 Plaza.

July 29 through Aug 4
World War 2 era warbirds will fly to the sky on Friday and Saturday. The flight show will be an hour long demonstration. An expected 250 warbirds will be demonstrating.

The Commemorative Air Force Red Tail Squadron exhibit. This exhibit honors America's first African American fighter pilots during World War 2.

July 29 through Aug 3
Come meet the heroes of World War 2 who flew many of the Texas Flying Legends Museums' s various aircraft types.

July 30 through Aug 1, 3, and 4
Yves Jetman Rossy will make his U.S. debut. How? through his carbon kevlar jetwing with four engines. You will see this Jetman propel himself in the air, upwards at 150 mph.

July 31 and Aug 3
These nights will offer a night aerobatics show and will feature pyrotechnics and finish the night by fireworks.

Aug 2
Special presentation of the Disney movie "Planes"

This friday will also be dedicated to retired and active duty military personnel to honor their service and scarafice. Look forward to the parade, honor flight, and a concert dedicated to the military personnel.

Aug 2 and 3
Aerial re-enactment of the history and heroism of the World War 2.

Aug 4
Sunday will be family day and families can visit at a reduced admission price. Students between the ages of 6-18 are admmited free when accompanied by an adult.
