OCTOBER 2-30  Various Times – The Art Garage 1400 Cedar St   Green Bay
Splash 2013 Art Exhibit and Sale:  This annual exhibit is free. Come discover the talent and creativity among us. Hours as followed: Sun/Mon Closed, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11-5pm, Thursday 11-7pm, and Saturday 11-3pm. As part of this exhibit, the Art Garage will also be having a Wine & Cheese Reception on Friday the 4th from 5-8pm. This event is also free. Please call (920)448-6800 for more information.
 
OCTOBER 4pm – New Zoo 4378 Reforestation Rd    Suamico  
Pumpkins for Pizza: Public pumpkin carving and decorating event located at the Pines Shelter. Pumpkins can be carved, painted, or sculpted. Bring your own pumpkin for pizza, if you are unable to bring your own pumpkins you are still welcome to attend. The New Zoo will provide free pizza and soda to everyone who participates in the event. Decorated pumpkins will be used to decorate the zoo. Pre-registration is requested. Please call(920)662-2405 for registration and information.

OCTOBER 10  7pm – 515 Pine St Central Library Green Bay
The Local History Series: Celebrating 25 years of Programming: The Brown County Library willbe celebrating by having a four-week series presentation with outstanding lectures of regional interest rich in history, culture, and content. The second week’s topic is “Overview of the Oneida Nation: Background on the Oneida Tribe and Culture.” This event is free and there will be free parking downtown after 6pm. OCTOBER 11 5:30pm – Radisson Hotel & Conference Center 2040 Airport Dr – Ashwaubenon
Wild About Science featuring Butterflies & Friends:  A fundraising event for the Einstein Project. Including an art auction, science demonstrations, blacksmithing demos, and engineering with foth and science fun with Professor Gizmo. The event cost is $40 an individual and $75 per couple. OCTOBER 11-12 3-8pm – New Zoo 4378 Reforestation Rd    Suamico  
Halloween Zoo Boo: Treat stations, glow-stick sales, haunted forest hay ride and straw maze. Children’s games and more. Entry gates close at 7:30pm. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the gate. Please call (920)662-2405 for more information.

OCTOBER 12 8am – Triangle Hill 500 Beverly Rd  – Green Bay
Run for the Hill of it 5K Trail Run: Proceeds go towards improvements in the Baird Creek Green way. Registration is $20 in advance or $25 the day of per individual. Please visit bairdcreek.org/runforthehillofit.
 
OCTOBER 12  11am – Neville Public Museum 210 Museum Place – Green Bay
Monster Mash 2: Activities include the ghostly stare, the floating finger, creepy scavenger hunt, story timesThe Hodag of Horror Scooby Doo TV episode will be showed with audience participation. All activities included with regular paid admission. OCTOBER 12   9-5pm – National Railroad Museum 2285 S Broadway – Ashwaubenon
The Great Pumpkin Train: Ride the train to the pumpkin patch and select a pumpkin. Family entertainment, children’s activities and coloring contest. Tickets are $11 per adult, $10 ages 62 and older, and $8.50 ages 3-12. Please visitnationalrrmuseum.org for more information.

Kick Off Your Landlord Education2013 WAA conference and trade show featuring keynote speaker Matt Jones on the topic “Property Management is a Marathon.” You can also network with rental property owners, managers, and staff.
