Pomegranate and Sweet Potatoes have great nutritional value…plus they are delicious!!

Pomegranates are a new superfood:  They are high in vitamin C and potassium, a great source of fiber, and low in calories. Not only delicious, pomegranates are one of the healthiest foods you can eat!

Pomegranate juice is high in three different types of polyphenols, a potent form of antioxidants. The three types - tannins, anthocyanins, and ellagic acid - are present in many fruits, but fresh pomegranate juice contains particularly high amounts of all three. 

Whether you snack on fresh pomegranate arils (seeds) or drink the juice, feel guilt-free as you enjoy each delicious mouthful: you're doing your body a favor!

In one of my October newsletters I addressed basic reasons for “issues”.  Here are some suggestions that have helped others for each of this month’s issues.  See below for links.

Alzheimer’s
   ~ Focus Attention to support blood circulation & neurotransmitters in the brain, encourages
            restful balanced mental activity, supports the nervous system, provides important nutrients
for normal brain-stimulation levels
   ~ Brain Vitality to fight an aging brain, supports brain structure & function
   ~ Essential Oils of Rosemary, Frankincense, Sandalwood, Helichrysum, Oregano, Clove Bud,
Rose Bulgaria

Diet Suggestion ~ Eliminate all aluminum cookware, foil & deodorants; drink only purified water;


Cancer ~ Paw Paw, Protease Plus and FuCoyDon are “huge” at helping these issues!
   Lung
~ Himalayan Salt Inhaler to help breathe easier; breathing exercises would be good too
            ~ Ayurvedic Bronchial Formula nourishes the lungs and bronchi
   Pancreatic
            ~ Pro-Pancreas encourages urinary, prostate, pancreas, liver and glandular health

Diet Suggestions ~ no animal protein after 4:00pm, eat 10 raw almonds a day & all dark-colored fruits, drink beet, carrot & asparagus juice often, eat onions & garlic; no junk food, sugar or caffeine; consider eating according to blood type; mini trampolines have been suggested; juicing is great too!

Consider addressing emotional issues.  There are many flower essences and essential oils that are wonderful for helping the body to release emotions.  Behind every issue there is an emotion.


COPD

Crohn’s
   ~ Intestinal Soothe & Build soothes a toxic bowel, restores bowel to a cleaner, healthier state

Colitis, Ulcerative
   ~ CLT-X is excellent to support the intestinal system & soothe the bowels
   ~ Small Intestine Detox to support digestive system, sooth digestive tissue
   ~ Essential Oils of Peppermint, Roman Chamomile, Clove Bud

Diet Suggestion ~ Eliminate wheat, oat, rye grains, seeds & nuts; may have corn sensitivity too; no red meat, fried foods, citrus fruits, dairy or sugar; avoid lots of raw foods;  Good foods are green drinks, cooked or raw juices, lightly steamed vegetables; may want to consider eating foods suggested for “A” blood types;


Diabetes
   ~ Pro-Pancreas encourages urinary, prostate, pancreas, liver and glandular health
   ~ Golden Seal lowers blood sugar similar to insulin, supports mucous membranes & immune system
            and provides a friendly probiotic environment
   ~ Anamu, Olive Leaf, Nature’s Noni & High Potency Garlic all help to lower blood sugar
   ~ Essential Oils of Geranium, Eucalyptus, Ylang Ylang

There are so many other helps & ideas like helping pancreas, circulation, colon, urinary, glands, balance pH, help eyes and diabetic sores/ulcers;

Diet Suggestion ~ eliminate all refined carbs, simple sugars & gluten; eat non-starchy vegetables like squash, string beans, lettuce; consider more alkaline forming foods; Use Stevia & Xylitol instead of sugar;


Epilepsy
   ~ Brain Vitality to fight an aging brain, supports brain structure & function
   ~ Focus Attention to support blood circulation & neurotransmitters in the brain, encourages
            restful balanced mental activity, supports the nervous system, provides important nutrients
for normal brain-stimulation levels
   ~ Balance electrolytes with good trace minerals like Spectra Maxx, Herbal Trace Minerals
   ~ Good sodium is needed for brains…consider Himalayan Salt Sole Solution
   ~ Lobelia Essence may help to stop seizures
   ~ Essential Oils of Frankincense, Sandalwood, Lavender, Roman Chomile, Ylang Ylang, Peppermint,
Jasmine; avoid Rosemary

Diet Suggestion ~ eat small meals; don’t drink a lot of liquids at once; eliminate refined sugars; consider Flax Seed Oil or whole Flax Seeds; eat alkaline forming foods;

Also Consider ~ supporting digestion, nerves, cleanse colon, parasite cleanse, cleanse toxicity from body;

Caution ~ there are a few herbs that interfere with Epilepsy medications like Passion Flower, Valerian Root, Kava Kava and Gaba Plus; consider taking any supplements about 8-12 hours apart from meds.


Pulmonary Hypertension
(PH) is a rare, debilitating disease in which high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs can lead to right heart failure.
   ~ Blood Pressurex to support & promote blood flow, potent antioxidant properties
   ~ Himalayan Salt Inhaler to help breathe easier; breathing exercises would be good too to not
            only help the lungs function better but also to lower stress
   ~ Flower Essences for emotions and to help react to stress properly

Diet Suggestion ~ use Stevia or Xylitol instead of sugar; eliminate caffeine such as coffee & Coke; switch from table salt/sea salt to Himalayan Salt (re: no chemical added & have all the nutrients); try using our Capsicum/Garlic/Parsley as an added spice in your food; drink lemon water;

Other Suggestions ~ eliminate what is causing you stress as much as you can


In all suggestions...there are other options.  Every person’s need is different but the basics remain the same…help digestion, colon, increase trace minerals & whatever other help is needed.
