AUGUST 13  4-5pm, Bellin Health 3263 Eaton Rd, Green Bay
 
Nonsurgical Weight Management Options Seminar: Presented by Carol VanScyoc Health and Wellness Coach; learn how to lose weight and keep it off. Attend the 3 session seminar to get the most out of weight management knowledge. You will learn more about fitness, dietary assistance and The Works on Wellness Program at Bellin and much more. Bike Safety Event: Located at the Tundra Tailgate Zone the safety experts will educate children and parents on the importance of wearing your helmet. Free bike helmets will be available for the first 500 children or while supplies last. Free bike helmet fitting (10-12:30pm) and bike obstacle (11-1pm). This event is free.
 

AUGUST 13 and 16  Tue 1pm Fri 11am, Wildlife Sanctuary Woodland building, Green Bay

AUGUST 14 5-7pm, Duck Creek Quarry 2140 Glendale Ave, Howard


USA Triathlon Multisport Splash & Dash: Youth Aquathlon Series presents youth run and swim. Age groups 7-8 and 9-10 will have a 100M swim and a 1KM run. Age groups 11-12 and 13-15 will have a 200M swim and a 2KM run. Come cheer on our young athletes. Visit www.greenbaymultisports.com for more details.


AUGUST 14-18  All day Wednesday through Sunday, Brown County Fairgrounds, Depere
2013 Brown County Fair: Opening night will have Fireworks over the Fox River at 9:30pm. Most days include the Great American Duck Race, Carnival games and prizes, Demolition Derby, a Kid’s Show, Clown with balloon creations and magic, Truck Pulls, Music, Livestock Auction and so much more. The gate price ticket is $12 or $9 in advance and Sunday will only be $5. AUGUST 15 12-6pm, N7332 Water Circle Place, Oneida
Oneida Farmers Market Bash Festival: Live Music by Dewy and Rockem & Howe.  Bingo, Frisbee toss, Prizes to give away and lots of food to try. Children’s activities including face painting, balloon making and wagon rides. This event is free.


AUGUST 16  6-7pm, Gun Country 969 Waube Lane, Ashwaubenon

Waterfowl Hunting Seminar: waterfowl hunting expert Chad Belding of “Fowl Life” on the sportsmen’s channel will be making an appearance from 6-7pm. Please call (920) 543-4110 for more details. This event is free

 

AUGUST 16-17  Fri 10-6 Sat 9-3, Lambeau Field Atrium , Green Bay

Sports & Outdoors Show: Free fishing seminars and special appearances by Captain Wild Bill, Larry Dahlberg, and Roland Martin. There will be a $2 Brat Fry and $1 Coca-Cola Beverages for purchase. Proceeds go to benefit the 4-H. Stop by to register for a Coleman motor and 1 out of 30 $100 Fleet Farm gift cards. Booths filled with all types of fishing gear, hunting gear, pet supplies, and sportswear plus much more. The event is free and the parking is free. 

 
AUGUST 16-18 9-5pm, Leicht Memorial Park, Downtown Green Bay
Tall Ship Festival: maritime festival featuring ship tours and day sailing excursions. There will be a variety of food and live entertainment. Learn about the rich history of each ship and what it takes to be a crew member. Children can create their own unique piece of take-home art and dig to uncover buried treasure.  Festival tickets $12 Adult, $10 Children and Seniors
AUGUST 17  3-4:40pm, Fonferek Glen County Park 2825 Dutchman Rd , Ledgeview
Let’s Rock Fonferek Glen County Park: Expert naturalist will review Fonferek’s rocks and minerals that lie within the parks range. We will be hiking and observing plant and animal life too. This event will happen in rain or shine. The cost is $7 adult, $5 ages 4-17 years old and $20 family. Register online at www.browncountyextension.org or call (920) 391-4655
Kids Bowl Free at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley
If you sign up at www.kidsbowlfree.com/ashbowl your children can bowl for free! You will need to register each child on the website and then you will receive the free passes every week by email. You are allowed 2 free games a day for the rest of the summer.  You may call (920) 336-0400 to find out how qualifying families can also get a family pass
