Holiday Sugars

Tis the season many of us eat & drink too much…especially sugar, fat & salt!  No…I’m not going to spoil your fun!  But I am going to give you some information & some tips.   J

A few reasons to avoid sugar ~ causes inflammation which causes pain, feeds irregular cells, feeds fungus, feeds parasites, causes blood sugar to spike & drop, plus many other issues

When you eat too much (processed) sugar…you may want to consider these supplements:

Want to add sugar to your drinks or baking?  Consider using Xylitol!

A few reasons to avoid sweeteners ~ many sweeteners such as molasses and syrups contain sucrose that cause tooth decay.  Then you have the artificial sweeteners that have been linked to many dangerous illnesses.  Xylitol is an excellent alternative!

When I demo Himalayan Salt at various locations around Green Bay…there is always someone that says to me…”salt is salt” or “sodium is sodium”.

Salt is mined in different places around the world…and is processed differently.  It’s in the processing that the problem lies.

Table salt and many sea salts are stripped of all their minerals/nutrients and then chemicals are added.  So essentially they become about 98% Sodium Chloride and 2% chemicals.  Therein is the problem.  No balance of minerals…and then there are the chemicals.  Both of these issues make table salt harmful for the body.

Whatever you are cooking, you may easily switch from table salt to Himalayan Salt.  You will be very happy with the added flavor to your foods!
